I’m LOVIN’ digging into God’s word with HUNDREDS of you who’ve asked Jesus into your heart over the last few weeks. Getting to pray for you and connect with so many of you via Twitter has been fantastic. Can’t believe we’re already halfway through the First 30 Days with Jesus tweets! There’s so much TREASURE in His words to us!

Your First 30 Days with Jesus, Days 1-5:

• Day 1: Today kicks off “30 Days with Jesus” encouragement tweets for those who just asked Jesus into your hearts: YOU ARE BRAND NEW in Christ. – Read 2 Corinthians 5:17

• Day 2: Wondering what to expect in your new relationship with Jesus? Get your hopes up. “Expect love, love & more love!” – Read Jeremiah 31:3

• Day 3: When you prayed to receive Christ, you became His follower and were adopted as His child. Nothing can separate you from Him. – Read Romans 8:31-39

• Day 4: A day full of rescues! Jesus rescued you and He watches over you as the apple of His eye! You are God’s own special treasure. – Read Deuteronomy 32:10

• Day 5: God’s not disappointed in you! He knew what you were capable of when He died for you. He paid for your sin and declares you NOT GUILTY! – Read Colossians 2:13-14

This weekend I heard about two girls who made it all the way out to their car after one of our worship experiences at Quest and put the key in the ignition before they decided to turn around and come back inside. They were determined to not go home the same way they’d come in. And they DIDN’T! Jesus moved into their hearts and they are BRAND new! God is ready to do a miraculous work in the lives of EVERY single person who walks through our doors! (You are NOT the exception!)

Come See For Yourself!

p.s. Leaders…your people are dying to know the POWER of God in their own lives. If God is so dynamic, our lives shouldn’t be so static!

I’m overwhelmed by the dozens and dozens of you who’ve pulled me aside, talked to your lifegroup leaders, sent tweets and  posted on Facebook about this series. You guys are doing real, substantial work with Jesus.

So many of you came undone watching the drawbridge video we showed this weekend. The truth is you and I are expensive sons and daughters. The sacrifice God made on our behalf was costly, and this a remarkable picture of the sacrifice God made on our behalf:

1. The NFL FINALLY kicked-off again last night. All is right with the world.

2. Praying for 414 brand new Christ-followers who asked Jesus into their hearts last weekend at Questapalooza! Now THAT’s worth celebrating! (Begging God to bring back 1000s to Come See for Themselves this weekend!)

3. Loved being a part of The Nines yesterday…a great online conference put on by the Leadership Network.

4. I am seriously pumped for this coming weekend at Quest. Come See For Yourself!

Don’t give up on your invites! If they couldn’t make it last weekend, let them off the hook. But if there’s a chance they might come now…risk it again and invite them for this weekend! Seriously. This series could change their lives FOREVER.

Uprising Pastors & Leaders…

Three months ago today we sat together in Lexington, Kentucky and God ignited an Uprising in our hearts! A fire that would burn bright as we make a way for people to find their way home. The Uprising was never meant to be about a day or a great conference. It was meant to ignite us, change us, inspire us and equip us to do the ONE THING Jesus came & died for…to seek and save the LOST. There is no greater calling or mission on the planet!!

Remember what God did in you in April. Don’t lose heart. Whether you’ve seen massive fruit or you find yourself struggling to remember they “why” behind it all, KEEP GOING FOR IT! No matter what.

Galatians 6:9 says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”

Don’t give up…on the church, on your ministry, on yourself, on the people you love. There is HOPE in their lives because YOU’RE in their lives. Remember your first love. Remember why you went into ministry to begin with. You can do this, friends! Keep the flame lit and ask Jesus to stir up His Spirit in you to live a Luke 19:10 kind of life.

You really MATTER!

• Journal.
• Make a list of ways you’ve experienced His grace.
• Ask the questions you’ve been avoiding.
• Study a book of the Bible.
• Go somewhere you’ve heard from Him in the past and listen.
• Read a book that will spur you on in your calling or your relationship with God.
• Make space to let Him speak to you in unique ways.

He can’t wait to meet with you.

After four weeks of Making the Most of What You’ve Got, I’m so PUMPED to see you really going for it, Questers. You’re trusting God with your resources and taking your next steps toward financial freedom…and I’m so proud of you!

When you trust God with our money,you’re really trusting Him. And His is ALWAYS trustworthy. He will not drop you or forget you. He gave you His BOY…He’s not going to withhold from you now.

Tonight at Celebration I was thrilled to announce some amazing numbers that might encourage you as you remember you really are part of The Power of Everybody. As we all dive into our next steps of financial freedom…

• 80 new families are joining the Imagine2 Journey!

• 266 new households are trusting God in the Three Month Tithe Challenge!

• And…256 people are finding financial freedom at Financial Peace University!

Do you have ANY idea what kind of freedom you’re opening the door to Questers? If we commit to this together, cheer each other on and trust God with our resources…there’s no limit on what He can do in us and through us! The watching world won’t have any idea what to do with such a radically generous community.

I’ve seen Him be so faithful in this area of my life, friends. Go for it! Trust Him with all you’ve got and let Him lead you. He’ll be so FAITHFUL.

Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; He’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil! Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life!
