In an Instant…

Need a reminder of what happens when someone bows a humble knee and surrenders their heart to Jesus? Everything changes.

In a singular, glorious transaction we exchange our evil for God’s righteousness and receive forgiveness for our sins by trusting in Christ’s work on the cross. In this remarkable exchange, we give our sinful life to Him in exchange for His holy life in us. We are declared right before God by placing our faith in Jesus, and the peace of God ours. In this instant here’s what Bible says occurs…

*We go from death to life. (John 5:24)

*We are forgiven instantly. (1 John 1:9)

*We are born again. (John 3:3)

*We become as white as snow. (Isa. 1:18)

*Our sins are removed as far as east is from the west. (Psalm 103:12)

*Our names are written in Jesus’ book & our eternity is secured. (Revelation 21:27)

*We go from being lost to being found. (Luke 15)

*We become a new creation. (2 Corinthians 5:17)

*We open the door & He comes in! (Revelation 3:20)
