I Love This Church

Can’t write too much…just trying to sneak in a little blog about tonight. Tonight was the first of our services this weekend celebrating Quest Community Church’s 10 Year Anniversary. There were nearly 900 of us at tonight’s celebration…and man, are we glad we came. It was just a gorgeous tribute to God. We sang loud and hard from the bottom of our hearts. The stories either left our mouths wide open or had us looking for tissue. The music rocked. The video “fast forward” of our history nailed it. And in the sermon, I pointed to Jesus with strength and clarity.

People paid rapt attention as we thanked God for where He’s taken us and looked with eager anticipation toward QCC’s audacious days ahead! I loved walking through Luke 11… being distinctly clear that the Good News of Jesus Christ is THE REASON Quest has flourished and people’s lives have been so thoroughly transformed.

We honored God in righteous fashion!!! I could tell heaven was as pumped as we were! What an anniversary celebration. Those of you who come tomorrow at 9, 11, 1 in Lexington (or 9:30, 11:30 in Frankfort or live online at questcommunity.com) are gonna love it! I can’t wait to be in it again.

I love this church, and I love what Jesus has done through us even more. I love doing life with all you Questers. I’ll see you in the morning.
